APAS2022 Conference

Where: Fairmont Resort, Leura NSW
When: 21-23 March 2022
Theme: "Surveying on the Edge"
The APAS2022 conference was a great success with a noticeable buzz as we were finally able to reconnect in person after three years. It attracted 200 delegates (including 30 via the live stream) with 47% of delegates from private industry.
Congratulations to Jonathon Smith (DCS Spatial Services) for winning the Keith Haddon Memorial Prize for the best conference paper with “Updating SCIMS with DEM-sourced AHD heights across NSW”.
The conference proceedings are now available in the Resources section of this website.
Thank you to all presenters and our gala dinner speaker Dr Craig Roberts for contributing to a very interesting and diverse program. We very much appreciate your efforts because without you we wouldn’t be able to organise such a successful event every year.
Next year’s conference, APAS2023, will be held in Coffs Harbour on 20-22 March 2023. Please consider volunteering yourself, a colleague or friend to present at APAS2023. To register your interest to present, please contact me. A call for abstracts will follow in due course.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
Kind Regards,
Dr Volker Janssen
APAS Publications Officer, Technical Program Chair & Editor of the Conference Proceedings
