ABSTRACTS

The Call for Abstracts is now closed.

All abstracts must use the standard abstract template.

All instructions must be followed and the abstract must be submitted via email. Abstracts not using the standard template will not be accepted.

IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES

For your information, the deadlines for APAS2019 contributions are as stated below. Please ensure that you meet these deadlines, so the conference program and proceedings can be finalised in time.

  • Abstract submission deadline: Friday, 28 Sep 2018
  • Draft paper deadline: Friday, 30 Nov 2018
  • Final paper deadline: Friday, 1 Feb 2019
  • Conference: 1-3 April 2019 (Mon-Wed, with presentations on Tue & Wed)

INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

We recognise that authors may not be very experienced in writing papers. In fact, we encourage submissions from authors that do not normally present their work at conferences. We therefore offer two paper deadlines.

By submitting your paper by the draft paper deadline, you have the opportunity to receive feedback from the Editor which may result in improvements of your paper. Any suggested changes can then be made before the final paper deadline.

In addition, a full paper template is provided to authors to help in the production of the paper and the conference proceedings. Please note that submissions not using this template will not be accepted.

APAS2019 conference registration is now open.

Please use the online registration link below (EFT and credit card payment options available) or the hardcopy registration form to register.

Please also take note of the registration conditions.

TO VALIDATE MEMBERSHIP RATES

Please note that all delegates intending to register at the discounted member price at the conference must first pay their membership fees online.

The Tax Invoice number of your paid membership must be indicated on the registration form next to your position in order to validate your registration at the membership rate.

  • APAS2019 Conference Early Bird Registration Now Available

    December 2018

    Registrations are now open for the APAS2019 Conference in April 2019, with early bird rates available until 5pm on Friday 15th February 2019.

    Make sure your membership payment has been processed before you register. All delegates wanting to register at the members price at the conference will need to add their Tax Invoice number of their paid membership fees in order to validate their membership discount.

    Check your Membership Status and Tax Invoice number here (need to be logged in first).

    Your status needs to be indicating Active for you to be eligible for member prices.

    Welcome to the new APAS website, we hope you like it!

    Apart from the fresh new look we are also moving to an online membership renewal system in order to simplify the process for members and reduce the back-end administration work involved.

    If you are logged in, please take a moment to become familiar with the Member Links column on the right, including;

    • Member Notices (this page) - where we will post any relevant messages relating to all our members,
    • Membership Status - where you go to view your membership level, current status, history, payment amounts etc and also to download your tax invoices,
    • View/Edit Your Profile - please check here often to ensure all your details are correct, especially your primary email address. We also recommend adding a backup email address and mobile phone number so we never accidentally lose contact with you,
    • Membership Renewals - all future renewals will be available here from 1st December each year, and
    • Log Out - don't forget to log-out when your finished!
